2025年1月7日9时5分，西藏日喀则市定日县发生6.8级地震，国家防灾减灾救灾委员会办公室、应急管理部于12时02分启动国家四级救灾应急响应，于18时42分提升至二级。
针对西藏日喀则地震，中国乡村发展基金会于12时07分紧急启动救援响应，派出一线工作组于19时出发赶赴震中，支持人道救援网络伙伴赴一线开展救援行动。
